Samsung has teased a new wider foldable design while leaks reveal Galaxy Z Fold 8 camera specifications, suggesting incremental upgrades ahead of the July 2026 Unpacked event.
Samsung is teasing its next-gen foldables with a series of teasers that suggest a much wider design direction for its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold lineup. The marketing posts, which feature a “new shape” theme, suggest a move away from the taller, thinner folding design the company has deployed in past generations. Samsung’s own teasers, shared across its official channels, have focused on silhouette changes rather than technical specs, further bolstering the expectation that the most apparent upgrade this year might be the phone’s new form factor, instead of any huge leaps in hardware. The teasers have also been accompanied by leaked dummy images, which suggest a wider, more tablet-like aspect ratio when unfolded, closer to the usability of a compact tablet than previous Fold models.
